Delete your account and your data

VidaPerruna is an app for recording and coordinating your dogs' care. You can permanently delete your account from the app itself or from here.

From the app (fastest)

Profile → Account & privacy → Delete account.

Without the app

Enter your account email. If an account exists for that address, we will send a single-use confirmation link that expires in 1 hour. Deletion only runs after you open that link.

What is deleted

Your email, your credentials and your sessions.
Your profile and your preferences.
The dogs you are the sole owner of, along with their photos, activities, reminders and invitations.
Your memberships in other people's dogs.
Your pending invitations.

What may be kept

Activities and reminders you recorded on dogs that keep existing: they belong to the dog and their history stays, but your authorship is anonymized irreversibly.
Photos of dogs that keep existing, because they belong to the dog and not to your account.

Shared dogs

If you own a dog that other people share, you must first transfer ownership to a co-owner or delete that dog. That happens in the app, so no dog is ever left without an owner or disappears without a decision.

Timing

Deletion runs the moment you confirm the link. The database provider's backups may retain data for an additional period that depends on their configuration; that configuration is not defined yet and will be documented before the app is published.
